DTI Lana Doll: How to Get and Repair It

What the Lana Doll is

The Lana Doll is an accessory-category item (subcategory: prop), added on 30 August 2025 as part of the Summer 2025 update. It is wearable by any avatar, it has toggles, and it is based on the removed BeaPlays Dollie code item.

It is a locked item: the only way to get it is the mini-quest, and the mini-quest only exists in Freeplay Mode.

How to unlock it

  1. Enter Freeplay Mode. The quest does not exist in the standard game mode or in Style Showdown.
  2. Find the three repair materials hidden around the Freeplay map — a needle, buttons and thread. They are placed as findable objects in the environment rather than given to you.
  3. Repair the doll, which is located at Lana’s Salon.

Once repaired, the Lana Doll is permanently yours and appears with your other unlocked items in the Dressing Booths.

Note that the Freeplay map has changed several times — a house and studios in Summer 2025, a Halloween town in late 2025, and a Brazil map on 4 July 2026 — so material locations move between updates. If a walkthrough you find lists a spot that no longer exists, that is why.

The Captain Scarlet toggle

On 20 September 2025, Scarlet’s Treasure Hunt was added to Freeplay. Completing Scarlet’s Secret, a hidden part of that quest, unlocks an additional Captain Scarlet toggle for the Lana Doll — the same item, switched to a pirate-styled doll with its own colour options.

So the doll has two forms:

  • Lana — adjustable skin tone, dress, eyes, shoes and inner eyes, hair
  • Scarlett — adjustable skin tone, hat and coat, boots and belt, top, and more

Why people search for it constantly

Three reasons, and they are worth separating:

  • “Where is Lana” usually means Lana’s Salon, the hair, makeup and nails area of the Dressing Room.
  • “Where is the Lana Doll” means the repair location in Freeplay.
  • “How to fix the Lana Doll” means the three-material quest above.

They are different questions with different answers, which is why so many players end up looking in the wrong place.

Using it in outfits

The doll is a prop, so it occupies one of your 18 item slots. It reads best in themes where carrying something makes narrative sense — Nursery Rhyme, Plushcore, Cursed Beauty with the doll as the unsettling element, and Wonderland.
