What Manga Muse is asking for

The word is muse, not character. The theme asks you to look like you were drawn — printed manga, not animated anime. Print manga is black and white, which is the whole key: high-contrast ink black on paper white, flat unshaded fills, hard-edged shadows, and screentone dots for the mid-greys.

That makes it one of the strongest monochrome themes in the game, and one that rewards a completely different approach from Anime, which is colourful and character-driven.

Building it without VIP

• Build in black and white only, with at most one accent colour.
• Laced Top or Cross Top in flat black with a white Layered Skirt — the hard split reads as panel art.
• If pattern options are available, dots and hard stripes create screentone.
• Star Sunglasses or graphic eyewear adds the drawn-line feel.
• Makeup: heavy graphic liner with no blending. Manga faces have lines, not gradients.

Hair does the heaviest lifting. Anything with an impossible, sculptural silhouette — spikes, extreme volume, a shape gravity would not allow — instantly reads as drawn.

Colour and silhouette

Ink black, paper white and screentone grey. One saturated accent — a single red, a single blue — mimics a colour spread page and looks deliberate. Silhouette should be exaggerated: bigger shoulders, longer legs, sharper points than a real garment would have.

What loses votes

• Cosplaying a named character. That is a different theme.
• Soft blended makeup. Manga has no gradients.
