What Thrifted is asking for

Thrifted is not the same as vintage. Vintage is a curated period look; thrifted is what happens when you buy whatever fits from a rail of donated clothes. The signals are specific:

• Items from different decades worn together
• Nothing matching — colours, eras and formality levels all clash
• A slightly wrong fit: too big in the shoulder, too short in the sleeve
• Faded, washed-out colour on everything
• One genuinely odd item you cannot explain

This is one of the most forgiving themes in the game for free accounts, because ownership of expensive coordinated sets is actively a disadvantage.

Building it without VIP

• Granny Dress is the best single free item here — it reads as somebody else’s clothes immediately.
• Layer something that does not belong over it: Ripped Cropped Overshirt, Zip-Up Vest, Baggy Sleeve Shrug.
• Baggy Jeans or Bootcut Jeans with a Comfy Sweater for the separates route.

Faded mustard, washed denim, muddy floral and brown — the palette of a charity shop rail. Silhouette should be slightly off: oversized where it should be fitted, and short where it should be long. Deliberate imperfection is what reads.

• Crisp new-looking items. Everything should look worn.
• One era only. That is vintage; thrifted mixes.
